The ultrasonic Antifouling system is totally effective however it is powered.  They use very little power and operate in exactly the same way on AC and DC power.  The Ultra DC system operates automatically on the vessels 12 or 24v DC system and the DUAL Voltage Ultra system works on both 12/24v DC and 110/230v (50/60Hz).
